Michael formed Design Spaces back in 1997 as a result of his passion for gardens and landscapes, areas and spaces where one can feel “at home” He feels that its not so much what you put into a landscape or garden but more importantly the spaces which you create. These spaces are where you feel the true beauty of what you have created.

Prior to that Michael  was working as both designer and  gardener in the UK and Europe working on large Royal estates in France to rooftop Gardens in Central London as well as being involved with a large renovation program in Kent.

His experience overseas combined with study in organics, permaculture and Bio-dynamics has given him a passion in sustainable edible gardens that both look good and provide food. He likes to provide environments that reflect the personality of the client and provides them with a space that gives them real pleasure to be in.
